You have a few good inverter schematics reasonably efficient working ZVS is too strong (always on self-resonance) and 555 + MOSFET/bipolar transistor to inefficient.I want to build a small 5-10Kv power inverter with so 10W on 12v. The can is not so universally say: testing jobs
You can bring a ZVS on low power by using a choke with high inductance.
And the 555 + MOSFET is quite inefficient for Flyback transformers only. If you take a reasonable calculated transformer, then the efficiency is very good (I got time approx. estimated transformer 35W load 93% efficiency with a "pi ma thumb": awesome:).
A circuit would be simple and efficient but, as it is also used in CCFL inverters. A ZVS with bipolar transistors is in principle: the most efficient circuits are in my opinion also the CCFL inverter.
Here an example: already posted is the same principle as kilojoules has just yet with lots of text, calculations etc. to do so. too many c945? (-> http://www.serious-technology.de/ernsth... andler.htm below in the diagram) if not, one of the tranSIS (tranSIS sin Hess head) is always warmer and conductive, until he finally blows. Then the following: at inductive load on the tranSIS, high spikes occur when the tranSIS turn off (-> battery-to transformer and again off = spark keyword) you must therefore incorporate a free-wheeling diode!
Further in the text: 30V @ 1.05a (7 x C945) are no 10W more. Saying you're already times the power, but still no 10kV! (Spark should doesn't ignite in 1 cm, with you). Either you should be more tension in the ZT say more sec hunt turns on your green transfer er Rinkern (isn't or? the Green is your "Vortrafo"?) or just more power for higher voltage spikes.

It is then but far outside your used 10W border... The Green transformer is used as "Vortrafo".However, which are not due to overheating (with me the circuit runs slightly more efficiently than yours (Nothing on you)) but died by the spikes.And instead of many small transistors just 2 large use is easier said to me as getan(Geldmangel).Now I keep just the C945 Transistoren.Normalerweise I had that anyway with FET BB´s built up but I have no more (real BB´s life is hard without FET, you better believe me!).I had a stupid accident the last 2 FET BB´s gebraten(ZVS=Beide Fet´s nicht isoliert auf Kühlkörper und dann an ne Starke Batterie:facepalm:).So I guess just getting: create always have enough storage to stand type components! Now I must live without FET BB´s power controls
